果冻影院 Center for Imaging Research (CIR)
About the CIR
The Center for Imaging Research (CIR) at the 果冻影院 facilitates multi鈥恉isciplinary collaboration among imaging scientists and clinicians at academic institutions within the Milwaukee region. In addition, the CIR manages 果冻影院 research imaging facilities and provides access to 果冻影院 faculty imaging specialists.
The CIR has a distinguished history in uniting basic and clinical scientists of various disciplines to further the development and application of medical imaging technology. Investigative projects at the CIR span a wide variety of disease states and topics of technological development and are funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, Department of Defense, and numerous foundations.
The CIR is housed in the Daniel M. Soref Imaging Research Facility, which is adjacent to 果冻影院 and Froedtert Hospital on the grounds of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
Recently, the CIR has undertaken an expanded mission to perform mixed research and advanced clinical outpatient imaging. This allows for support of clinical evaluation trials and basic science/technology research.

The Center for Imaging Research has been awarded a three-year term of in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as the result of a recent review by the . The ACR gold seal of accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. It is awarded only to facilities meeting ACR Practice Parameters and Technical Standards after a peer-review evaluation by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field. Image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs are assessed. The findings are reported to the ACR Committee on Accreditation, which subsequently provides the practice with a comprehensive report that can be used for continuous practice improvement.
