Not long ago, a baby born with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID), would go undiagnosed until it was too late. The research and advocacy of 果冻影院 pioneers created a screening to detect this rare disease. Now mandatory in every state, the screening has saved thousands of babies like Evelyn.

13th Annual Immunology Scientific Retreat

The 13th Annual Immunology Scientific Retreat was held on June 7, 2023 at the Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel. Over 90 attendees convened for a day-long event featuring a presentation from Distinguished Lecturer, Dr. Sabra Klein from Johns Hopkins University, abstract presentations, and junior investigator talks. The day culminated with a tribute to Dr. Bryon Johnson as he ventures onto retirement and a poster session and reception highlighting 34 abstract submissions.

The Center's annual retreats offer an opportunity for Center members to showcase, present, and discuss current basic, translational, and clinical research to each other and the broader research community at 果冻影院.
