Biography

Lauren Miller, PhD is a pediatric clinical neuropsychologist and Assistant Professor of Neurology. She specializes in the evaluation and care of children with medical, neurological, and neurodevelopmental disorders and their families, with particular focus and expertise in working with young children under the age of 6 years. Dr. Miller’s background also includes significant experience in the early identification of autism spectrum disorder through screening and early diagnostic evaluation, which continues to be a part of her clinical practice. Dr. Miller’s research interests focus on understanding developmental trajectories and longitudinal cognitive outcomes in young children with a history of prematurity,
perinatal complications, medical and neurological conditions, and congenital heart disease. She is also interested in developing efficient screening and evaluation processes for autism spectrum disorder in high-risk clinical populations, including NICU graduates, and exploring the manifestation of autism spectrum disorder symptomatology in medical populations, including individuals with congenital heart disease.
