New CAC Clinic Now Open to Patients in Appleton
The Fox Valley Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is now co-located within the Children’s Wisconsin Appleton Specialty Care Clinic. The CAC is housed on the first floor of the building and has doubled in size. The space now offers two forensic interview rooms, two medical exam rooms, three family rooms and a large patient/family kitchenette area. This additional space allows the CAC to serve more children at once and better meet the needs of our community.
With the co-location, the CAC now offers full time child life services and has access to labs and imaging services on site. These additional services significantly reduce stress of additional follow up appointments for families at other locations, provides continuity of care and better enhances the patient care experience.
