Research Interests
Robin is interested in the regulation of the immune system through mechanistic regulation of receptor chemistries via structural determination. Using NMR spectroscopy and cryo-EM, Robin is investigating drug-receptor interaction and unique physiological and structural changes based on disease states and inhibition.
Previously, Robin completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. For four years, she studied under the direction of Dr. Christopher Veldkamp looking at chemokine structural determination, where she published two articles. Robin started at the 果冻影院 in 2023, where she continued her work in structural biology, gained more experience in NMR spectroscopy, cryo-EM, and protein purification under the direction of Dr. Brian Volkman.
