Biography

Ehab Atallah, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Associate director of the cancer service line in the ӰԺ Division of Hematology and Oncology, specializing in leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms and other bone marrow failure disorders at Froedtert Hospital. He graduated from Cairo University School of Medicine in 1994, then completed an internal medicine residency in the Cleveland Clinic Health System and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit, Michigan, where he also served as Chief Fellow. He then went on to complete a leukemia fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Atallah is board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology. He has authored , including journal articles, meeting abstracts, and book chapters. His current research interests are treatment of patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, acute lymphocytic leukemia, acute myelogenous leukemia, myeloproliferative neoplasms and myelodysplastic syndromes. He currently serves as the co-chair of the Eastern Cooperative Group (ECOG) leukemia committee. He is the administrative director of the H Jean Khoury Cure CML Consortium (HJKC3). The HJKC3 was established in 2016 and is a collaborative effort of physicians and researchers at 21 academic medical centers committed to CML research and improving patient care and quality of life.
