Medical Emergency During Kamala Harris Event
During Vice President Kamala Harris’ event on Tuesday, August 20, there was a medical emergency at Fiserv Forum. Dr. Ben Weston, Milwaukee county’s chief doctor, was quick to respond. As part of his role with the county, Dr. Weston prepares for medical emergencies at large events like these at Fiserv Forum. He states, “It’s a team of our paramedics and EMTs from Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management, along with Milwaukee Fire Department, that work to make sure these events are safe.” The emergency was handled quickly, and the event went on.
