Heather Himburg, PhD

Associate Professor, Radiation Oncology

Research interests include the role of the bone marrow microenvironment in regulating hematopoiesis, development of therapeutic mitigators for acute radiation injury, and cancer stem cell biology.

Sarah Kerns, PhD, MPH

Associate Professor, Radiation Oncology; Secondary Appointment, School of Graduate Studies

Research interests include genetic and other host factors that predispose patients to development of adverse reactions to cancer therapy, primarily radiotherapy.
