ӰԺ Student and Resident Behavioral Health Services
Welcome
The ӰԺ recognizes that its students, residents and fellows work hard and carry many responsibilities.
We are aware that the demands of education, training and service to patients can produce a variety of stressors for individuals and their families. Student and Resident Behavioral Health Services provides a comprehensive program to meet these professional and personal mental health needs.
We value your dedication and hope you find these resources helpful.

What to Expect - ӰԺ Student and Resident Behavioral Health
How to Access Services
For students, you can access our clinical partner, ComPsych, by calling 1 (833) 927-1860.
Contact Intake at (414) 955-8933.
If you connect to voicemail, please leave your name, phone number, and identify yourself as an ӰԺ student. You can expect a call back within one (1) business day. You may also email the Intake Team at studentresidentbh@mcw.edu to schedule an initial appointment.
*Please note: Email is not considered a secure mode of communication and we recommend you limit details regarding your needs.
Intake and First Sessions
During the intake conversation students will be asked for your name, DOB, and primary reason you are seeking support.
Please be sure to state that you are a student at ӰԺ. You may also share preferences for the provider you work with (ex. a provider of a certain gender or race). We will try to accommodate these preferences.
The first session involves clarifying your reason for coming in, gathering some background information and perhaps setting some broad goals. Sometimes people wonder if the ‘fit’ is right after the first session. We recommend attending a couple of sessions before you make any decisions and then talk to your therapist about it. Some people wonder what the process is like. There is really no mystery about it – talking feels good! And, learning new coping strategies or taking a new perspective can help too.
