Program Tracks

The program offers three tracks for fellows to consider. Regardless of their clinical home, fellows have the flexibility to focus on clinical research or medical education based on their career objectives.
Hospital Medicine

Hospital Medicine

Based at Froedtert Hospital, our academic fellowship offers structured training for individuals aspiring to pursue a career as clinician investigators in hospital medicine. Our program is designed to engage fellows in research with a focus on health services research, and thorough training in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. This comprehensive training positions successful graduates favorably to pursue federally-funded research opportunities.
Primary Care

Primary Care

Based in Froedtert Hospital’s onsite primary care practice with faculty and residents, primary care fellows have the opportunity to advance their skills in teaching and mentorship while developing their research skills. Our program has a focus on health services research and provides thorough training in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Women's Health

Women's Health

Based at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, GIM women’s health fellows are part of the VA’s Advanced Fellowship in Women’s Health, a national interdisciplinary fellowship aimed at advancing women’s health through clinical care, research, and education.

Reasons to live in Milwaukee

Milwaukee is a one-of-a-kind city with a vibrant and diverse culture, this charming, yet metropolitan must-see is just 90 minutes north of Chicago and nestled on the coast of Lake Michigan. Whether you鈥檙e catching a show at Summerfest, the world鈥檚 largest music festival, immersing yourself in the old world charm of the Historic Third Ward or taking in the sights and sounds of one of the many caf茅s, beer gardens or restaurants that line the city鈥檚 riverbank and shoreline, Milwaukee never disappoints. Find out why 果冻影院 residents and fellows take pride in calling Milwaukee home.
