Closing Out Research Studies at the ӰԺ

Finalizing or transferring projects is an important step in the research process.

For researchers leaving ӰԺ, the checklist below walks through various scenarios to ensure all paperwork, eBridge applications and inspections are properly finalized:

Any faculty who are ending employment with ӰԺ and have acquired research data (generated data or materials) while working at ӰԺ are required to complete the Research Data Offboarding Survey. The Survey allows the departing faculty member to both report on the plan for their data and/or request permission to retain any original data. 

 

Faculty who are closing out labs and/or moving equipment should follow the guidance in the Lab Decommissioning Checklist. Contact Environmental Health & Safety for questions related to the laboratory space or physical lab materials.
